We perform "Guide us Oh, Thou Great Jehovah" TODAY!!!

Hi everyone!

Today is the day!  We perform in Sacrament meeting!!!!  So, you can see that it is very important to have everyone come to practice at 12:15 today! Please be on time. This is a beautiful and familiar piece that will wake us all up!

Secondly, I am planning for Christmas. You may wonder if I know how to read a calendar as it is still September, but believe me, Christmas will feel like it will be tomorrow!  Since Christmas Day is on Sunday, we will only be having Sacrament Meeting, which will be our Christmas Program.

There are so many beautiful Christmas pieces!  I am having trouble choosing all by myself, so I thought I would include the Choir!  See the links below to listen and let me know what your preferences are in the poll to your right!

And, to continue to learn how to read music, here is a quick video about the "Base Clef".  Enjoy!

Hi everyone!  Just a few important notes:

  • We will be performing on 9/25/16, so please prepare to attend our practice on 12:15.
  • The Youth have been formally invited.  Please extend a hand of fellowship and love to them as they attend.
For those of you who are new to reading music, I will try to include a short one-minute video to help you.  Here is a video about the "Treble Clef"

Dear Choir Members....

Hello wonderful Choir Members of the 24th Ward!  I welcome you back to Choir after a hopefully fun summer break!

  • We will have Choir practice each Sunday at 12:15 except Fast Sundays.
  • We are encouraging all choir members to mentor our youth. We are inviting them to join us  as well.
  • If we can make it happen, we will try to have the parts uploaded on this site for you to listen to and learn during the week at your convenience.
  • We want to make choir fun, please feel free to send music suggestions that you may have!
Thank you for being willing to serve our ward in this fashion!  Music not only blesses those who receive or hear it, but also those who prepare and sing it.  This beautiful music will come to you when you have a need, and when you least expect it.  I am grateful for the blessing of music, and pray that you may be blessed in your service to our ward by our Heavenly Father.

Upcoming performances!!!!

We are currently practicing the following:

  • Guide Us O Thou Great Jehovah
  • I Believe in Christ.
Ward Choir Performance dates:

September 25th

And......

We will begin practicing Thanksgiving and Christmas numbers soon!  My goal is to have our wonderful choir ready so that we are not having to stress about music during the Christmas season!
